After the huge success of the first LovePets show, which attracted 5,000 visitors, LovePets Scotland 2012 will take place at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh on 1-2 September 2012.
LovePets is the only generic pet show to be held in Scotland aimed directly at the many hundreds of thousands of Scottish pet owners and is organised by Johnston Press and The Scotsman newspaper.
Nearly half of Scotland’s households own a pet. In 2009, pet owners spent a record breaking £3.9 billion* on their cats and dogs alone, and this impressive spend is set to rise again.
LovePets is the perfect event to meet thousands of pet lovers face to face, giving you the opportunity to promote your products or services and to talk to new and existing customers. The show, organised by one of Scotland’s biggest media owners, Johnston Press, will benefit from a blaze of advertising and marketing publicity throughout their extensive range of newspapers, magazines and websites.
LovePets will include all pet sectors under one roof, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, small animals, reptiles and equine, in a spectacular celebration of all creatures great and small. In addition to exhibitor stands, there will be a large range of interactive demonstrations and presentations taking place throughout the weekend showcasing pet experts and professional pet organisations.
LovePets will interest experienced and inexperienced pet owners and promises to be a great day out for the whole family with lots to see and do.
A key theme of LovePets is to promote and encourage responsible pet ownership.
